12 miles is about the distance from Kingston to the Burford,
so I'm not sure what the Internet is on about suggesting that
these last 3 are "close" to Dorking. There are, of course,

Richmond has very easy
access to central London via train or the underground, and it's
also easy to go directly to Kingston on the train or bus.
It is, however, further from the wedding venue since it's north
